_Duties:_ Provide financial support and oversight and act as the primary finance point of contact for the North Dakota Operations business unit; identify process improvement opportunity to increase efficiency and effectiveness and ability to bring new ideas and perspective to existing practices and processes; prepare monthly accruals for Opex and Capex and post into the financial system (SAP); prepare variance commentary for the forecast and month end closing process; coordinate submissions for the Executive Summary used in the monthly closing meetings; provide supplementary data to Corporate Financial Services for use in quarterly investor conference calls; coordinate the monthly forecast submissions; coordinate annual budget submissions; prepare Year End 10-K reporting for Commitment and Lease Agreements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS; provide oversight for AFE tracking and ensure AFE spend status is communicated regularly; review, recommend, and implement process improvement initiatives; develop and follow standard work instructions; develop and routinely test financial controls; prepare monthly Opex reports for distribution; provide accounting guidance based on Council of Petroleum Accountant Societies (COPAS) requirements; provide business analysis and report; provide support to the business and other finance functions as required; provide special analysis and research as requested by management; work cross-functionally with business to improve cost management practices and to achieve the objectives of the business unit; support development of cost management behaviors within the business; support Operations personnel in cost reduction activities; support Daily Operating Rhythm meetings; provide support and guidance on time writing in SAP CATs; provide backup support to other Finance Support functions; meet expectations and requirements of internal and external stakeholders; Frequent domestic travel required within North Dakota and occasional travel to Houston, TX.
