This position provides support to ND Base Operations in the form of planning, developing, researching, documenting, and reporting ND Operational Competency Program goals, objectives, and outcomes.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitates steering team meetings to maintain and create competency models.
Reports training progress to team, area supervisors, and participants.
Development and revision of competency program materials.
Reviews training documents for consistency, grammar, and professional appearance.
Observes and facilitates training courses and provides feedback for improvement.
Works with team members to ensure consistency across all locations.
Works with managers and area leadership to ensure business and participant competency needs are met.
Drives competency efforts by maintaining communication with staff and supervisors.
Advocate of the competency program, and works to achieve the program’s goals.
Coordinates specialized trainings/projects.
Maintains qualifications needed to access Hess locations.
Coordinates and completes gap analysis for assessments for assigned client group.
Required to travel a minimum of one day per week to Hess locations based on client needs.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION
Professional in all communication and possesses solid writing skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to provide feedback in a positive manner.
Knowledgeable of adult learning principles and appropriate training practices.
Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies, approaches, or practices.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
2 years Oil & Gas Production Operations preferred.
3+ years working in an education or corporate training environment preferred but not required.
Education, Training & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communication, or related field preferred.
